About the role

Kura Yerlo Children's Centre is looking for a Casual Educator to join a community-focused Aboriginal organisation. You will be working in a place where culture, connection, belonging and respect are part of everyday practice, making a real difference in the lives of children, families and community.

Key responsibilities
Build warm, respectful relationships with children, families and colleagues
Support play-based learning and children's agency
Ensure children's safety, wellbeing and inclusion
Respectfully support Aboriginal culture and perspectives
Contribute positively to a team workplace
Engage in quality early childhood practice that goes beyond supervising children

About you
Hold a Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care,



or be working towards one
Have a genuine passion for working with children aged 0–5 years
Understand the importance of play-based learning and children's agency
Be committed to children's safety, wellbeing and inclusion
Be willing to learn about and respectfully support Aboriginal culture and perspectives
Be reliable, responsible and willing to get involved
