About the role

You will provide person-centred support tailored to each participant's needs, preferences and goals.

Key responsibilities
Supporting daily routines and independent living skills
Assisting with appointments, social activities and community participation
Building respectful, consistent and trusting relationships
Following individual support plans and using trauma-informed approaches
Communicating clearly with participants, families and the support team
Maintaining accurate progress notes and reporting concerns promptly

About you
Explicit spoken English and robust listening skills to understand participant needs and communicate effectively
The ability to adapt your communication to individual preferences and needs
A reliable, respectful approach that promotes choice, dignity and independence




The ability to work independently and as part of a team
A current NDIS Worker Screening clearance
A certificate in aged care and disability care
A current driver's licence
Access to reliable, appropriate transport with suitable insurance
Experience in autism support, trauma-informed care or mental health support, including schizophrenia (preferred)
Current First Aid certification, including CPR (preferred)
