We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Designer / Draftsperson to join our team. This role is ideal for someone with robust AutoCAD skills and an understanding of construction drawings. Experience in formwork design will be highly regarded. The successful candidate will work closely with our project and site teams to prepare accurate drawings, assist with design coordination, and support the successful delivery of construction projects. This is a site-based role offering the opportunity to work closely with our team on active construction projects.
Key responsibilities
Prepare and modify detailed drawings using AutoCAD
Develop construction and formwork drawings in accordance with project requirements
Coordinate with site personnel, engineers, and project managers
Review drawings and ensure accuracy and compliance with project specifications
Assist with resolving design and drafting issues on-site
Update drawings to reflect site conditions and design changes
Provide drafting and technical support to the construction team
About you
Proficiency in AutoCAD is essential
Previous experience in drafting or design within the construction industry
Experience in formwork design and drawings will be highly regarded
Ability to interpret construction drawings and technical specifications
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Good communication and teamwork skills
Ability to work in a quick-paced, site-based construction environment
Current White Card (Construction Induction Card) is essential
