About the role
/n
As a Community Nurse, you will provide high-quality clinical support to our NDIS participants and Aged Care (Support at Home) clients in their own homes. This casual position offers flexibility and the prospect to make a genuine difference in the lives of people across Canberra.

Your key responsibilities will include:
/n
/n
Continence Assessments: Conducting thorough assessments and developing management plans to support client dignity and independence.
/n
Wound Care: Providing expert clinical wound management and monitoring for participants with diverse needs.
/n
Client Education: Empowering clients and their families through education on safe medication management, personal care techniques, and health maintenance.
/n
Clinical Governance:
Maintaining accurate documentation and reporting in line with AHPRA standards and Quest Care policies.

About you
/n
We are looking for a nurse who is clinically competent, highly organized, and shares our values of compassion and professional excellence.

To be successful, you will need:
/n
/n
Current AHPRA Registration: A valid and unrestricted registration as a Registered Nurse.
/n
Clinical Expertise: Proven experience in community nursing, particularly in wound care and continence management.
/n
Communication Skills: A friendly and skilled manner with the ability to provide transparent education to clients and staff.
/n
Independence: The ability to work with minimal supervision while maintaining strong clinical oversight.
/n
Compliance: A current driver’s license, First Aid/BLS certification, and a commitment to regular manual handling training.
