Leydon Civil is seeking an experienced Diesel Motor Mechanic to join our team.
Responsibilities
Maintaining, testing and repairing diesel motors.
Maintaining, testing and repairing mechanical parts of trucks, buses and other heavy vehicles.
Working on heavy vehicle components, including transmissions, suspension, steering and brakes.
Detecting and diagnosing faults in diesel engines and mechanical parts.
Performing scheduled maintenance services, such as oil changes, lubrications and engine tune-ups.
Skills
Solid knowledge of diesel engines and heavy vehicle mechanical systems.
Experience using mechanical tools, diagnostic equipment and workshop machinery.
Valuable attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Essential Requirements
AQF Certificate III including at least two years of on-the-job training, or
At least three years of relevant experience may substitute for the formal qualification.
