ALL'ANTICO VINAIO ITALIA S.R.L., operating as All'Antico Vinaio, is an Italian food business specialising in freshly prepared schiacciata sandwiches, offering a range of fillings made with Italian ingredients.

The business is currently seeking an experienced Retail Manager for a permanent full-time position at its Sydney CBD location. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day retail operations, supervising staff, managing stock and maintaining high standards of customer service, product presentation and store organisation.

Key Responsibilities
Managing and coordinating the day-to-day operations of the retail store.
Supervising, training and coordinating staff to maintain efficient service.
Preparing staff rosters and allocating daily duties.
Monitoring stock levels and coordinating the ordering, receiving and storage of ingredients and retail supplies.
Maintaining product displays, store presentation and merchandising standards.
Monitoring sales performance, stock usage and operational costs.
Ensuring high standards of customer service and responding to customer enquiries and feedback.
Coordinating with staff to maintain efficient order processing and customer service.




Maintaining accurate sales, stock and operational records.
Implementing store procedures and maintaining consistent operational standards.
Ensuring cleanliness and organisation throughout the premises.
Ensuring compliance with food safety, hygiene and workplace health and safety requirements.

About You
At least 1 year of relevant experience in retail management or a similar supervisory role.
Solid leadership, staff supervision and team coordination skills.
Experience in retail operations, stock control and customer service.
Valuable understanding of product presentation and merchandising.
Robust organisational and time management skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to monitor sales performance and resolve day-to-day operational issues.
Strong attention to detail and a professional approach.
Ability to work effectively in a busy customer-facing workplace.
Knowledge of food safety and hygiene requirements.
