NEPEAN Longwall is a leading provider of longwall mining equipment and services to Australia’s underground coal industry. Due to continued growth, we are seeking a motivated and reliable Hydraulics Fitter with Cylinder Rebuild experience to join our team based in Paget, Mackay QLD .

This is a local, workshop-based role offering a 4-day compressed working week , providing genuine work-life balance while working on specialised underground mining equipment.

Key Responsibilities /n

/n
Assembly and overhaul of hydraulic cylinders, pumps, valves and manifolds

/n
Fault-finding, testing and commissioning of hydraulic systems

/n
Reading and interpreting hydraulic schematics and drawings

/n
Ensuring all work meets quality, safety and WHS standards

/n
Working closely with electrical and mechanical trades

/n

About You /n

/n
Trade qualification as a Fitter / Hydraulics Fitter or similar

/n
Experience in hydraulics within mining,



heavy industrial or mobile plant environments

/n
Longwall or underground coal experience (highly regarded, not essential)

/n
Robust fault-finding and diagnostic skills

/n
Safety-focused with solid attention to detail

/n
