A large transport business is seeking a HR Business Partner to join their team. /n

/n Our client is a well-established transport and logistics organisation with a solid presence in Tasmania. With a large operational workforce and a fast-paced setting, they play a critical role in keeping people, goods and services moving across the state.
Due to continued growth, an opportunity has arisen for an experienced HR Business Partner to join the team based in Brighton.
/n Your recent role
/n Reporting to the HR leadership team, you will partner closely with leaders across operations to provide practical, hands-on HR support and advice. This is a true generalist role where no two days are the same. You will work across employee relations, performance management, workforce planning, engagement, recruitment support, policy interpretation and change initiatives.

This role requires someone who can quickly build credibility, influence stakeholders and confidently navigate complex workforce matters.

/n To be successful in this role, you will be an experienced HR professional who enjoys working in operational environments and isn't afraid to roll up your sleeves.

Demonstrated experience in a HR Business Partner or Senior HR Advisory role

/n
Solid employee and industrial relations capability

/n
The confidence to think on your feet and make sound decisions

/n
Experience supporting operational, blue-collar or logistics-based workforces

/n
Excellent stakeholder management and relationship-building skills

/n
A practical, solutions-focused approach

/n
The ability to manage competing priorities and get things done

/n
Strong communication skills and resilience in a fast-paced environment
