About the roleRainbow Valley Early Learning Centre is seeking a passionate and dedicated Trainee Childcare Educator to join our team in Gladstone, QLD.

As a Trainee Childcare Educator, you will work alongside experienced educators to support the development, wellbeing and learning of children in our care.
This role is perfect for individuals who are committed to obtaining their childcare qualifications whilst gaining practical, hands-on experience in a supportive and nurturing environment.What you'll be doingSupporting qualified educators in delivering age-appropriate activities and educational programmes that foster children's cognitive, social, emotional and physical developmentAssisting with the supervision and safeguarding of children, always ensuring a protected and secure learning environmentHelping to maintain a clean, hygienic and well-organised childcare facility in accordance with health and safety standardsSupporting children with daily routines including mealtimes, rest periods and personal hygieneContributing to the planning and preparation of educational resources and materialsFollowing and adhering to Rainbow Valley Early Learning Centre's policies, procedures and duty of care requirementsSupporting the team in maintaining a positive,



inclusive and welcoming environment for all children and familiesWhat we're looking forA genuine passion for working with young children and supporting their growth and developmentWillingness to pursue an early childhood education and care qualification (Certificate III)A current or valid Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain one)Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build positive relationships with children, families and colleaguesPatience, enthusiasm and a calm demeanour when working with young childrenCommitment to maintaining confidentiality and child safeguarding principlesFlexibility and reliability, with the ability to work as part of a teamFirst Aid and CPR certification (desirable, or willingness to obtain)What we offerRainbow Valley Early Learning Centre is committed to supporting the professional development and wellbeing of our team members.
