D.N.K Services' is seeking an experienced Mechanical Fitter/ Tech to join our team in, Victoria.
This is a full-time permanent opportunity to work on critical machinery and equipment within the food manufacturing industry.
As a Mechanical Fitter, you will play a key role in maintaining and repairing essential production assets to support our client's operations.What you'll be doingPerform scheduled and preventative maintenance on a range of industrial machinery and equipmentTroubleshoot and diagnose mechanical faults, and implement effective repair solutionsOverhaul and rebuild components as required, gearboxes and vacuum pumpsLiaise with production teams to understand equipment requirements and minimize downtimeMaintain detailed records of maintenance activities and equipment performanceComply with all health, safety and environmental policies and proceduresMachining parts for machinesA company vehicle and uniform will be suppliedWhat we're looking forFormal trade qualification as a Mechanical Fitter or equivalentMinimum 3-5 years' experience as a Mechanical Fitter,



ideally within a food manufacturing or processing environmentStrong mechanical and problem-solving skills with the ability to quickly identify and resolve equipment issuesExcellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with production teamsCommitment to working safely and a proactive approach to continuous improvementKnowledge of preventative maintenance best practices and ability to document work activitiesWhat we offerAt D.N.K Services', we are committed to providing a positive and supportive work environment for our team.
