Beach House Motel - The Strand, TownsvilleBeach House Motel is seeking an experienced and professional Onsite Management Couple to join our team at our well-established motel, ideally located on The Strand in Townsville.This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated couple with strong hospitality and management experience who are passionate about customer service and enjoy a hands-on role overseeing the daily operations of a prime accommodation business.
As the face of the motel, you will work together to ensure guests receive exceptional service while maintaining the smooth and efficient operation of the property.What We OfferSalary package: $100,000 - $115,000 plus superannuationOn-site accommodation provided (1-bedroom apartment) including utilitiesStable, long-term role within a family-owned businessRoster: Monday, Thursday & Friday: 7:30am - 7:00pm; Saturday & Sunday: 8:00am - 6:00pm; After-hours on-call on rostered days onlyKey ResponsibilitiesWorking together as a management team, responsibilities include:Managing the day-to-day operations of the motel and apartmentsFront office and back-office operationsReception duties including guest check-ins/check-outs, reservations, and account managementHandling guest enquiries and delivering exceptional customer serviceProviding local recommendations and assisting with guest communicationsManaging group bookings and reservation coordinationGeneral administration,



invoicing, and reportingAssisting with accounts receivable and payable processesManaging after-hours guest issues and emergenciesCoordinating, rostering, and supervising housekeeping operationsManaging social media platforms, marketing initiatives, and occupancy growthMonitoring financial performance and preparing operational reports for ownerGeneral repairs and maintenance throughout the motel/apartments and grounds, including outdoor/property upkeep, room maintenance, and liaising with contractors and service providers as requiredSkills & Experience RequiredMinimum 2 years' experience in a similar hospitality management roleStrong administration, organisational, and communication skillsExperience using motel management software, GuestPoint preferredAbility to lead, support, and work collaboratively within a small teamHands-on, proactive, and customer-focused approachAbility to live on-site and take ownership of daily operationsCurrent RSA and RMLV certificates, or willingness to obtainThis position would suit an energetic and reliable couple seeking a long-term prospect in a supportive and welcoming environment.
