Full Time | Capalaba, Brisbane | $95,000-$115,000 + Super | Company Car with Private UseBseen Promotions are looking for an experienced Signage Production Manager / Estimator to join our team and take responsibility for the day-to-day running of our signage production and installation workflow.This is a hands-on management role and you will be the senior person responsible for our day-to-day signage production.
Working alongside one other production team member, you'll take ownership of the production workflow while also being actively involved in producing the work yourself.You'll be involved from the initial quote right through to production and installation, working closely with our designers, production team and installers to make sure jobs are completed correctly, efficiently and on time.The RoleYour responsibilities will include:Taking responsibility for the day-to-day running of signage productionPreparing quotes and estimates for a wide range of signage projectsReviewing jobs and determining the best and most efficient production methodCalculating materials, production time, labour and installation requirementsPlanning and managing the daily production workflowWorking alongside and overseeing our other production team member to ensure work is completed efficiently and to a high standardScheduling and coordinating our signage installersAllocating jobs to installers and ensuring they have the information and materials requiredCoordinating installation dates and job prioritiesWorking with the design team to ensure artwork and production files are correctOperating wide-format roll-to-roll printersOperating Multicam/AXYZ CNC routing equipmentPreparing and setting up files for printing, cutting and CNC routingLaminating,



cutting and general signage productionSelecting appropriate signage materials and manufacturing methodsPlanning material usage and minimising wasteOrdering materials and liaising with suppliers when requiredMonitoring jobs through production and identifying potential delays or issuesQuality checking work before it leaves the factoryTroubleshooting production and equipment issuesCarrying out or coordinating routine equipment maintenanceEnsuring jobs are produced in accordance with the quote and specificationsReviewing job costs and helping maintain accurate and competitive pricingContinually looking for ways to improve production efficiency, workflow and processesMaintain adequate stock levels across all production materialsAbout YouWe're looking for someone with solid signage industry experience who is comfortable taking ownership of production, making decisions and getting involved in the work.Robust experience in the signage industry is essential.Ideally, you'll have:A strong understanding of signage manufacturing and installationExperience operating wide-format printers and CNC routersGood knowledge of signage materials including vinyl, ACM, acrylic, PVC, aluminium and associated productsThe ability to read and understand artwork, drawings and production specificationsStrong organisational and time-management skillsThe ability to coordinate multiple jobs and installation deadlinesStrong attention to detailPractical problem-solving abilityThe confidence to make decisions and keep jobs movingThe ability to work independently and take ownership of productionMust work well under pressureExperience with Mimaki, Roland and Multicam/AXYZ CNC equipment would be highly regarded, although experience with similar equipment is perfectly suitable.Experience with UV printing, fibre laser, channel letters and other signage manufacturing equipment would also be an advantage.You don't necessarily need to tick every box.
