As the Senior Estimator, you will be responsible for preparing accurate estimates, managing supplier and subcontractor pricing, controlling project budgets, and supporting projects from pre-construction through to construction.Prepare detailed cost estimates and quantity take-offs for residential projects.Review plans, specifications and project documentation.Source and negotiate competitive pricing from suppliers and subcontractors.Prepare and manage project budgets.Issue and manage purchase orders.Monitor project costs and identify cost-saving opportunities.Maintain estimating databases and current pricing.Liaise with consultants, suppliers, subcontractors and internal project teams.Support continuous improvement of estimating processes and procurement systems.
