Reporting to the Group Financial Controller, this role offers the opportunity to lead finance operations, strengthen financial controls, drive process transformation, and partner with senior stakeholders across the business.
Managing a finance team across Australia and overseas, this is a hands‐on leadership position for someone who enjoys both operational and strategic finance responsibilities as well as reporting partner Japanese company.The OpportunityThis role will play a key part in modernising and scaling the finance function by improving processes, enhancing system utilisation, and developing team capability.
You will work closely with executive leaders and business stakeholders to provide financial insights that support business performance and growth.Key ResponsibilitiesLead month-end and year-end close processesPrepare accurate and timely management reportsEnsure balance sheet reconciliations are completed and maintainedCoordinate external audit and taxation requirementsStrengthen internal controls and financial governanceSystems & Process ImprovementOptimise ERP and financial systemsStreamline reporting processes and reduce manual workaroundsDrive automation and continuous improvement initiativesImprove finance processes to support future business growthLeadership & Team DevelopmentLead and develop a small finance teamProvide coaching, mentoring, and performance managementBuild team capability and promote a culture of accountabilityBudgeting,
