TDM Group comprises four entities serving distinct markets.We are seeking an experienced Finance Manager to take responsibility for the day-to-day financial management of the group and play an important role in supporting the owners and senior leadership team.About the RoleReporting directly to the Managing Director, the Finance Manager will lead a small finance team and oversee the group's financial operations and provide accurate, timely and commercially relevant financial information to support decision-making.This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys being close to the business.
You will have the opportunity to work across multiple entities and functions, with exposure to both operational and strategic aspects of the group.Key ResponsibilitiesOversee invoicing, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and payroll processesManage cash flow and forecastingHandle banking and reconciliation tasksEnsure timely ATO reporting and lodgmentsMaintain currency of insurance policies and manage claimsManage data and transactions in XeroProduce and review financial reporting (weekly, monthly,



quarterly, and annually)Support budgeting and forecasting cyclesFacilitate and assess credit applications for new customersCoordinate with external accountants for reporting and complianceEnsure all finance tasks align with business needs and maintain high accuracyAbout YouWe are looking for a commercially minded finance professional who combines strong accounting skills with a practical, hands-on approach.You will ideally have:Tertiary qualification in accounting/financeProven experience in a Finance Manager, Financial Controller or similar roleDemonstrated expertise in budgeting and forecasting, with a strong commercial awareness and business acumenIn-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with XeroExcellent communication, time management, and attention to detailA proactive, solutions-focused approachExperience working within a privately owned or multi-entity business setting will be highly regarded.Why Join Us?
