Change Education Recruitment is a new education recruitment business, and we're looking for a driven and personable Recruitment Consultant to join us at an exciting stage of our journey.Based in the Sydney CBD near St James Station, you'll have the opportunity to be part of a start‐up from the beginning, help shape how we work and play an important role in growing the business.For now, our focus is permanent recruitment across the education sector.
As the business grows, there will be plenty of opportunity for you to develop your desk, take on greater responsibility and build a long‐term career with us.The roleYou'll manage the full permanent recruitment process, building genuine relationships with schools, education providers and candidates.Your responsibilities will include:Developing new client relationships across the education sectorBuilding and managing your own portfolio of clientsSourcing, screening and interviewing education professionalsWriting and advertising engaging job advertisementsMatching candidates with suitable permanent opportunitiesManaging recruitment processes from initial introduction through to placementMaintaining regular contact with clients and candidatesContributing ideas and helping shape the growth of the businessAbout youWe're looking for someone who is naturally relationship-focused, motivated and excited by the opportunity to join a growing business.You may already have recruitment experience, ideally within education or permanent recruitment, or you may come from a strong sales or business development background and be ready to move into recruitment.Recruitment, sales or business development experienceStrong communication and relationship‐building skillsA proactive and self‐motivated approachConfidence speaking with both clients and candidatesGood organisation and attention to detailA genuine interest in educationThe ability to work independently while contributing to a close‐kith teamAn entrepreneurial mindset and enthusiasm for working in a start‐up environmentWhat's on offerA base salary of $80k-$95k, depending on experienceUncapped commission with no threshold, you'll start earning commission from your first placementThe opportunity to join a growing business at an early stageGenuine career progression as the company expandsThe chance to help shape your role, desk and future teamA welcoming, positive and supportive office cultureSydney CBD location near St James StationDirect access to the founder and involvement in key business decisionsThe satisfaction of helping educators and education communities find the right matchThis is a great chance for someone who wants to make an impact, have their ideas heard and experience the energy and chance that come with building a business from the ground up.
