Our knowledge and expertise have provided a solid platform for our growth and expansion over the past 20 years.About the Role:Supervision of team members including delegating tasks to individuals or teams in a clear and concise mannerSupervise and Coordinate sub-contractors to ensure workmanship aligns with project requirementsManaging onsite construction activities to ensure compliance to program specificationsProvide Quality Assurance and control sign off to relevant works, in alignment with project requirementsMonitor all day to day works.
This includes identifying and managing potential challenges/issuesManage Client and/or Stakeholder correspondence and interactions during constructionSubcontractor management experience highly regardedKey Requirements:Initial project drive in drive out work (roster) for a cattle feedlot expansion project.

and with the growth are seeking a Site Supervisor/Leading Hand.Ability to run earthworks/roads crews and Subcontractor as dedicated Site Supervisor/Leading Hand onsite.Ability to run smaller earthworks/road projects from operating a machine.Minimum5years industry relevant working experiencein a similar roleBK are supportive of progressing the career of a Leading Hand into a Site Supervisor Role.Experience with working to ISO Accredited standards for Safety, Environment and QualityTopcon/Trimble experienceAbility to read and understand detailed civil construction plansBulk earthworks experienceAbility to lead works crew, manage subcontractors and communicate with the client.Exceptional communication skills, written and oralSound understanding of civil earthworks projects and earthmoving machineryComputer literacy including Microsoft Office productsAbility to work away from home at timesWhy Choose BK Civil?
