we are a North QLD owned and operated project management business, with multiple opportunities this is the perfect time for an exciting new opportunity.Role Description -Cape to Coast Group is seeking an experienced Project Engineer to join our team on a 12-month contract, working a 7 on 7 off roster you will be supporting the delivery of a mining Greenfield structural, mechanical and piping (SMP) project.This role would suit a capable Mechanical Engineer who can confidently manage project delivery, coordinate schedules, maintain robust client relationships and oversee commercial matters throughout the project lifecycle.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport the delivery of Greenfield SMP worksDevelop, monitor and update project schedulesCoordinate engineering, procurement, construction and site activitiesManage client communications, meetings and project reportingIdentify, prepare and manage variations and scope changesMonitor project costs, progress, risks and deliverablesCoordinate subcontractors, suppliers and internal project personnelEnsure work is delivered safely,



efficiently and to the required quality standardsQualificationsProject Engineering capabilities with 5+ years in greenfield projectsProject Management and Project Planning skills, including scheduling, budgeting, and coordinating multidisciplinary activities.Candidates should possess effective Communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with stakeholders, prepare concise reports, and present technical information clearly.Relevant tertiary qualification in engineering (preferably Mechanical or a related discipline) and experience in a mining or construction environment are beneficial.Experience with industry standards, safety regulations, and quality assurance processes, along with proficiency in common engineering and project management software, is advantageous.Strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to working on-site in a team-oriented environment are desirable.For the right candidate flexible working arrangements including operating under their own ABN.
