AML Investigations AnalystAn exciting chance is available to join our client's Financial Crime Compliance (FCC) team as an AML Investigations Analyst.Forming part of the 2nd Line of Defence (2LoD) within the Compliance team, the role will involve conducting transaction monitoring and analysis, and delegating to form suspicions on financial crime matters, subsequently preparing and submitting Suspicious Matter Reports (SMRs) to AUSTRAC.ResponsibilitiesReview and investigate referred cases, escalating high-risk matters where requiredInput and update Suspicious Matter Reports (SMRs) in AUSTRAC OnlineMaintain accurate and timely records in the SMR databaseDetailsLocation: Sydney CBD (3 days p/w in the office)Contract: 6 months initiallyRequirementsPrior experience in writing SMRs is essential.Interested?
