Our work plays a vital role in regenerating Australian landscapes and driving the circular economy forward.About the RoleWe are seeking an experiencedMC B-Double Driver to join our team, based in Yass, NSW.This is a full‐time position, predominantly operating between Yass and Sydney, with the majority of the work consisting of straightforward single-drop deliveries.The role would suit an experienced MC driver looking for a consistent run, quality equipment and the opportunity to work independently as part of an established team.Key ResponsibilitiesOperating a B-double combination between Yass and SydneyPredominantly completing single-drop deliveriesEnsuring loads are transported safely and delivered on timeCompleting daily vehicle checks and reporting any defectsMaintaining a high standard of care for the truck and trailersComplying with Chain of Responsibility, fatigue management and all relevant road transport requirementsCompleting required paperwork and electronic recordsCommunicating with the Yass team regarding deliveries and schedulingAbout You:A current MC licencePrevious B-double driving experienceForklift licence preferred but not essentialA good understanding of fatigue management and Chain of Responsibility requirementsA strong commitment to safetyGood communication and organisational skillsA reliable and professional approachThe ability to work independently and manage your day effectivelyKnowledge of the Yass–Sydney route would be beneficial.What We OfferPredominantly consistent Yass–Sydney workMostly single-drop deliveriesWell-maintained equipmentA straightforward role with a supportive local teamThe opportunity to join an established and growing Australian businessOpportunities to undertake different types of work across the business, including walking floor and truck-and-dog operationsIf you're an experienced MC driver looking for a consistent B-double role based out of Yass, we would like to hear from you.SOILCO is committed to providing a safe working environment for all (everyone, every day, and everywhere) and making available wellbeing programs to support the mental, physical and social wellbeing of our staff to be at their best.Applicants are required to undergo an employment screening process which involves a pre-employment medical including drug and alcohol testing and reference checking.
