They have a supportive, people-focused culture and are now looking for an experienced Finance Manager to lead their finance function through the next stage of growth.The RoleReporting to the executive team, you'll lead and develop a finance team and take ownership of day-to-day finance operations.
A key focus will be making processes, controls and reporting consistent across the business, using technology to improve efficiency.Responsibilities include:Leading, mentoring and developing the finance teamStrengthening financial controls and governanceDelivering monthly, quarterly and annual reporting, budgets and forecasts, with insightful commentaryOverseeing cash flow,



treasury and transactional financeManaging all tax and statutory complianceManaging the relationships with the external auditors and tax advisersDriving system and process improvements to reduce manual work and improve reportingAn attractive salary package is on offer, along with hybrid working.The Successful CandidateYou'll be a hands-on, practical finance leader with high standards and a collaborative style.
You'll bring:CA or CPA qualificationsInitial expereince in a chartered firm workplace - e.g. big 4 or mid-tier - is advantageousSeveral years in a senior finance leadership roleExperience in a multi-site or decentralised businessStrong budgeting, cash flow, consolidation and controls experienceA proven ability to lead and develop a teamSolid knowledge of Australian tax and statutory requirementsExperience with cloud-based accounting systems (Xero highly regarded)A strong continuous-improvement mindset
