Its Broadband and Post Branch provides strategic advice and policy leadership on broadband and postal matters, including oversight of the Commonwealth's multi-billion-dollar equity investment in NBN Co.About the RoleWe are seeking a Finance and Investment Officer (APS6 equivalent) to join the Broadband Strategy Section in Canberra.
You will analyse NBN Co equity requests, financial data and investment proposals, prepare approval documents and executive briefings, and support Senate Estimates, audit and reporting processes.This contract runs from 27 October **** to 23 May ****, with the option to extend for up to 12 months.
Flexible work may be available, and a Baseline security clearance is required.Key DutiesReview and analyse quarterly subscription notices and equity requests under the Commonwealth Equity Funding AgreementPrepare delegate approval documents and supporting analysisAnalyse NBN Co financial data, investment proposals, finance plans,
