We are working with a growing healthcare organisation on the Gold Coast that is looking for a confident and organised individual to take ownership of the day-to-day operations of one of its medical practices.This opportunity could suit an established Practice Manager or an experienced Senior Medical Receptionist who has taken on additional responsibilities and is ready to progress into a Practice Manager position.This is a hands-on leadership role where you will work closely with doctors, nurses, allied health professionals and administration staff to ensure the practice runs efficiently while maintaining a high standard of patient care and service.The Role As Practice Manager, you will be responsible for the smooth day-to-day operation of the medical center while supporting both the clinical and administrative teams.Your responsibilities will include:Leading and supporting reception and administrative staffManaging day-to-day practice operations and workflowsSupporting doctors, nurses and allied health professionalsStaff rostering, onboarding and performance managementMaintaining a high standard of patient serviceManaging practice policies, procedures and compliance requirementsSupporting accreditation and quality improvement processesMonitoring practice performance and identifying opportunities for improvementAssisting with recruitment and staff developmentManaging patient feedback and resolving operational issuesWorking closely with senior management to achieve operational and business objectivesAbout YouYou may already be an experienced Practice Manager, or you could be a Senior Medical Receptionist who is ready to take that next step into management.Previous experience as a Practice Manager, Senior Medical Receptionist or in a senior medical administration positionExperience within general practice, medical centres or a similar healthcare environmentExperience supporting or supervising reception and administration teamsStrong communication and people skillsKnowledge of medical practice operations and patient workflowsExposure to rostering, onboarding, accreditation or compliance would be highly regardedConfidence working closely with GPs and other healthcare professionalsStrong organisational and problem-solving skillsThe ability to manage competing priorities in a busy medical environmentA patient-focused approach and commitment to providing excellent serviceYou don't necessarily need to have held the title of Practice Manager before.
