The successful candidate will need to communicate effectively,



stay organised and be able to make practical decisions to keep the operation moving.Key ResponsibilitiesCoordinate the scheduling and dispatch of trucks and driversAllocate vehicles and drivers to pickups and freight movementsProvide pickup ETAs to key customersMonitor OH&S; and NHVR complianceEnsure company policies and procedures are followedCommunicate effectively with drivers, customers and the wider operations teamWork closely with drivers, customers and the wider operations team to keep the fleet moving efficientlyAbout YouTransport experience is essential.We are looking for someone with a sound understanding of the transport and logistics industry who can step into a busy operational environment and contribute from day one.You will also have:Previous experience within the transport industryStrong communication and interpersonal skillsExcellent organisational and time-management skillsThe ability to prioritise and manage competing demandsThe ability to work effectively within a team environmentA practical, solutions-focused approach to operational challengesA strong commitment to safety and compliancePrevious Fleet Controller, Transport Allocator or similar experience will be highly regarded, but is not essential.We are open to candidates with strong transport industry experience who are looking to take the next step in their career into a fleet control/operations position.What We OfferFull-time, permanent positionMonday to FridayCompetitive SalaryOpportunity to become a key member of the VFS transport operations teamA varied and hands-on role within a busy transport environmentApply NowIf you have transport industry experience, robust organisational skills and enjoy working in a fast-paced operational environment, we would like to hear from you.
