Assistant Venue Manager & Guest Experience Lead – Brisbane CBDAbout the roleWe're looking for an energetic and experienced Assistant Venue Manager to join our Corbett & Claude team in Brisbane's CBD.Working closely with the Venue Manager, you'll help lead the day-to-day operation of a busy, high-volume restaurant.
You'll be visible on the floor, confidently running shifts, supporting the team and ensuring every guest receives warm, attentive and engaging service.This is an ideal opportunity for a strong hospitality supervisor or emerging manager who is ready to take on greater responsibility and continue developing toward future venue management.Key responsibilitiesSupporting the Venue Manager with the daily operation and performance of the venueConfidently leading busy lunch, evening and weekend servicesManaging reservations, guest arrivals, section allocations and overall floor flowRunning clear pre-shift briefings and ensuring the team is prepared for serviceCoaching and supporting team members throughout each shiftMaintaining high standards of service, presentation and professionalismCreating a positive atmosphere and keeping the team motivated during busy periodsHandling guest feedback and resolving concerns calmly and professionallySupporting staff recruitment, onboarding and trainingAssisting with rosters, labour management and shift planningCompleting opening and closing procedures, cash reconciliation and daily reportingAssisting with stock control,
