This is an opportunity for a motivated engineer who enjoys working across a diverse portfolio of projects while combining technical expertise with practical, site-based involvement.
Working closely with project managers, supervisors, and clients, you'll play a key role in ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and to the highest standard.
With a strong pipeline of work supporting Queensland's ongoing infrastructure growth, this position offers long-term stability, project variety, and genuine career progression opportunities.Key Responsibilities:Provide engineering support across civil construction, demolition, remediation, and environmental projectsDevelop and review construction methodologies, work procedures, and technical documentationAssist with demolition planning, temporary works assessments, and structural investigationsSupport contaminated land and remediation projects, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and industry standardsCoordinate with consultants, regulatory authorities, certifiers, and project stakeholdersConduct site inspections, quality audits, and compliance reviewsPrepare and maintain quality assurance documentation, including inspection and testing recordsContribute to tender submissions, cost estimates, and project scoping activitiesAssist with approvals, permits,



and regulatory submissionsProvide technical guidance and mentoring to site-based teamsMaintain accurate project records, reporting, and project documentationTo be successful in this role, you will bring:Degree qualifications in Civil, Structural, Environmental Engineering, or a related disciplineMinimum 4 years' experience within civil construction, infrastructure, demolition, remediation, or environmental projectsSound understanding of Queensland WHS and environmental legislationExperience preparing technical reports, project documentation, management plans, and SWMSStrong problem-solving skills and practical engineering knowledgeProven ability to interpret engineering, structural, and geotechnical drawingsExcellent communication and stakeholder management skillsCurrent Queensland Driver's LicenceCurrent Construction White CardHighly Regarded:RPEQ accreditation or currently working towards registrationExperience within demolition, asbestos management, remediation, or contaminated land projectsKnowledge of NEPM guidelines and contaminated site assessment frameworksMembership with Engineers Australia and/or Chartered statusFirst Aid CertificationWhat's on Offer:Competitive salary package of $110,000 - $145,000 + SuperSecure, long-term opportunity backed by a strong pipeline of civil and infrastructure projects across South East QueenslandExposure to a diverse range of civil, demolition, remediation, and environmental projectsOpportunity to work on technically challenging projects with experienced industry professionalsCareer development and clear progression pathways into Senior Engineering and Project Management rolesSupportive leadership team and team-oriented working environmentBrisbane-based role with local project work and no FIFO requirementsStrong safety culture with a focus on professional development and continuous improvementOne Key Resources is committed to workplace diversity and strongly encourages female and indigenous candidates to apply.
