As a Lawyer specialising in personal injury law, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality legal services to our clients.
This position offers the opportunity to work in a hands on role in cases and to develop your expertise in personal injury matters.
You will be responsible for managing files, providing legal advice and representing clients through negotiations and litigation processes, preparing statements, preparing pleadings, engaging experts and briefing and instructing Counsel.Key responsibilitiesManage a portfolio of workers compensation matters from initial consultation through to resolutionProviding comprehensive legal advice to clients on personal injury matters, including work-related injuries, motor vehicle accidents and public liability claimsPreparing and reviewing Personal Injury Commission applications, Statements of Claim, Statements of Particulars, heads of damages schedules and submissionsConducting client interviews and gathering evidence including from expert witnesses.Negotiating settlements;Represent clients in Personal Injury Commission and Court proceedings,
