About the Role
The vessel Engineer is an integral part of our Ferry Operations from Cleveland and Redland Bay.
This position will be responsible for maintaining machinery and systems on the vessels including maintenance and servicing, also assisting with loading of vessels, safety of passengers and ensuring the safe operation of the Vessel.
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate experience and robust knowledge of regulations and legislation applicable to vessel operations.
This role requires dedication, energy, commitment, initiative, teamwork, multi-skilling and time management.

Skills, Qualifications and Experience
Current Certificate of medical fitness for near coastal seafarers (AMSA form ****)Provide First Aid (HLTAID011)



and CPR certificatesDemonstrated experience and skills operating equivalent vessel machineryExperience with digital maintenance programsProven history of mechanical fault finding and proactive monitoringHighly developed interpersonal and solution focused skillsExperience working well in a small teamProvide Advanced First Aid (HLTAID014) and CPR CertificatesConfined Space and BA Qualification
