A rare and highly attractive opportunity has become available for an experienced Senior Financial Accountant to join their team on a full-time, permanent basis.
It is essential to be either CA or CPA qualified, as well as possessing SAP systems experience.This is a genuine hybrid prospect, offering the flexibility to work:3 days in the office2 days from homeSalary: $130,000 base + SuperTHE ROLE:Part of a close-knit and high performing finance team, this position of Senior Financial Accountant will be responsible for but not limited to:All aspects with month- and year-end preparation, including monthly and ad-hoc journalsReporting and analysis, including analysis of all aspects of sales, COGS & operating expenses informationConduct monthly account reconciliations, identify and rectify discrepancies, and ensure the integrity of financial dataManage day-to-day accounting activities including bank reconciliations,



and general ledger maintenanceMaintain the fixed asset registerLiaise with external auditors and assist with audit preparation and responsesPrepare annual statutory accountsFinancial reporting, budgeting, and financial analysisAny other tasks requested by management.QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS:The successful applicant will have/be;CPA or CA qualifiedDegree qualified in Business/CommerceSAP systems experienceFull Australian work rightsAdvanced MS Excel skillsStrong understanding of accounting principles, standards, and compliance requirementsExtensive knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, and financial analysisExcellent attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving skillsStrong communication & interpersonal skills as well as taking pride in personal presentation.For your experience & professionalism, you will be treated to working with a close knit finance team, reporting to a supportive and very impressive Financial Controller and competitive salary.
