KDT Australia (formerly Leda Machinery Australia) is a leading national supplier of woodworking and panel processing machinery.Established in ****, we have grown into a well-established national business with showroom and warehouse facilities in Adelaide, Melbourne, Brisbane and Sydney.We supply a range of KDT machinery including CNC routers, edge banders, panel saws and automated panel processing equipment, backed by our national sales and service team.Our business has been built on long-term customer relationships, quality machinery and reliable after-sales support.The PositionWe are looking for a driven and tech savvy Service Technician to join our growing team opportunities available in QueenslandThis is a hands-on role working directly with our customers to install, service, maintain and troubleshoot woodworking machinery.Main Duties & ResponsibilitiesExamining and testing machines, equipment and control systems to diagnose faults.Adjusting, repairing and replacing worn and defective parts and wiring, and maintaining machine, equipment and instrumentsReassembling, test operating and adjusting equipmentAdvising users of correct operating procedures to prevent malfunctionsInstalling electronic equipment and control systemsApplying knowledge of electrical, electronic, mechanical,



hydraulic and pneumatic principals in commissioning and maintaining control systemsFollow all company standards and procedures as currently documentedProvide an excellent example of customer service on all levels for the companyManage workflow of all service requests using Microsoft DynamicsIdentifying customer requirements and passing potential sales opportunities to our sales teamEssential Skills & Qualifications RequiredApplicants will need to possess at least two years recent experience in Electrical or Mechatronics background with trade/diploma qualifications.
A minimum of 2 years experience on panel-based woodworking machinery would be highly valued.Positive knowledge of concepts, principles and practices of electrical/mechanical systemsCurrent Drivers LicenceStrong organizational skillsExceptional verbal/written communication and customer service skillsProfessional presentationAble to read and understand technical documentation, drawings, manuals and OEM guides.Permanent full-time position in a growing businessBase Salary of between $90,000 and $120,000 commensurate with skills and experienceOpportunities from professional development and career developmentA supportive and dynamic work environment
