R & R is seeking a talented Solicitor to join our legal team in Newcastle, NSW.

As a Solicitor, you will provide comprehensive legal services across a broad range of practice areas, working closely with colleagues and clients to deliver high-quality advice and representation.
Key responsibilities
Provide legal advice and services to clients across multiple practice areas, including commercial law, property law, litigation, and general mattersDraft, review and negotiate legal documents and commercial agreements on behalf of clientsConduct legal research and analysis to support case preparation and client adviceManage client relationships professionally and maintain transparent communication throughout legal mattersPrepare legal correspondence, pleadings, and other court documents as requiredAttend meetings and negotiations with clients, opposing parties and other stakeholdersContribute to the development and maintenance of legal resources and templatesSupport compliance with legislative requirements and professional obligationsAssist with business development and client relationship management activities
What we're looking for
Admission to practice as a Solicitor in New South Wales or eligibility to apply for admissionBetween 2-5 years of post-admission experience in a law firm environmentStrong knowledge of general legal practice areas, with the ability to work across multiple disciplinesExcellent written and oral communication skills with the ability to provide clear, pragmatic legal adviceProficiency in legal research,



case management and document draftingStrong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple matters and deadlinesProfessional with the ability to build and maintain positive client relationshipsAttention to detail and a commitment to providing high-quality legal workExperience with legal practice management systems and Microsoft Office applicationsA collaborative approach to working within a team environmentPreferred: experience in commercial contracting, conveyancing, property law or litigation matters
