With an impressive range of projects, both current and upcoming, this role will position you as the studio's lead for Data Centre projects within a nationally based group who are highly regarded and active across multiple project sectors.
With a solid pipeline of technically complex work, they're keen to appoint an accomplished Architect with extensive experience across the design, documentation and delivery of hyperscale data centres.
Working closely with external clients, specialist consultants and internal project teams, you will help drive projects forward while ensuring design intent, technical requirements and demanding programme expectations are successfully achieved.
Responsibilities will include:
Leading and coordinating significant hyperscale data centre projectsWorking closely with external clients to lead operational, technical and commercial requirementsManaging multidisciplinary consultant teams and complex project interfacesOverseeing design development, technical resolution and documentationMonitoring project programmes, deliverables and key milestonesIdentifying potential design and coordination issues before they affect deliveryProviding clear and confident advice to clients and project stakeholdersSupporting and mentoring architects and technical team members

To be considered, the following are skills and experience are essential:
Extensive architectural experience specifically on data centresStrong understanding of the technical, operational and security requirements associated with mission-critical facilitiesProven experience coordinating large and highly serviced buildingsExcellent client-facing, communication and presentation skillsThe confidence to lead meetings and work directly with sophisticated external clientsStrong consultant coordination and project delivery capabilitiesAbility to manage competing priorities within fast-moving project environmentsRelevant architectural qualifications, with registration highly regarded
Long term, permanent position with an exceptional salary on offer in the range of $175,000 plus Superannuation and beyond.
