We are seeking an experienced solicitor, ideally 3+ years PAE, to join our practice and work across a broad range of commercial, property, and private client matters.This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys direct client contact, running matters with almost full autonomy, and being part of a small team where your contribution is valued.Proposed start date is mid to late November ****.The roleYou will work on a diverse file load, including matters such as:Commercial matters including advice to small and medium businesses, contracts, transactions and general commercial advisoryProperty matters including residential and commercial conveyancing and property transactionsWills and estates including preparation of wills and related estate planning documents and estate administration mattersNo defined Billable Hours - performance measured on fee receipts rather than hours workedAble to work at home or at the office with no strict need for on-site attendanceYou will be client-facing and will manage matters end-to-end with almost full autonomy of files, while reporting to and working closely with a director and paralegal.Key responsibilitiesLeasing matters, acting for landlords and tenants, including drafting,



reviewing and negotiating leases and related documentsProperty matters, including residential and commercial conveyancing from contract review through to settlementWills, including drafting wills and progressing estate administration mattersBanking and finance matters, including preparing and reviewing mortgage documents and acting for private lenders and borrowersRetirement living matters, including advising on retirement village and manufactured homes contractsManaging matters efficiently, including prioritisation, diarising and meeting deadlinesReporting to and working closely with a director, and collaborating day-to-day with a paralegalMaintaining strong client relationships through transparent, timely communication and practical adviceAbout youIdeally 3+ years PAE with demonstrated experience in commercial and property work, and exposure to wills and estatesConfident and professional in a client-facing roleStrong drafting, attention to detail and file management skillsPractical, solutions-focused approach and strong communication skillsReliable, organised, and able to work independently while collaborating closely with a small teamInterested in building long-term client relationships and growing with the firmExperienced applicants are preferred.Salary and incentivesSalary range $100,000 to $130,000 plus superSalary commensurate with experienceIncentive arrangements open for discussion
