About this opportunityReporting to the Plant Manager, the Production Manager is responsible for the overall management and performance of the full production area.
The focus of the role is to build a culture that has a strong Continuous Improvement and Operational Excellence mindset driving towards achieving production KPIs within the organization.Your key responsibilities will be to:Champion a safety‐first cultureLead and develop the production team, with a focus on talent building for the mould change team and the production techniciansEnsure all products are made on time and to specificationPromote a culture of LEAN & Continuous Improvement towards world‐best practiceModel direct, respectful communication across the siteEnsure all standards ISO, HACCP and GMP are achievedPlan weekly production with a focus on minimising waste and maximising machine uptimeCollaborate with the reliability manager to review machine setups and optimise product manufactureWork with the Supply Chain Team to optimise planning and scheduling, ensuring key issues impacting customer delivery are identified and understoodSupport the maintenance and logistics teamsMaintain a Continuous Improvement mindset to improve Safety, Productivity, Quality and ReliabilityYour skills and experienceTo be successful in this role,
