Beacon Legal have partnered with a leading Australian construction business in their search for a new Legal Counsel.
They are looking to hire someone at the 4-6 PQE level, to be based in their Melbourne office.We're seeking a proactive and commercially minded construction lawyer to work closely with the senior lawyer on providing legal advice to the wider business.
This role offers the opportunity to work across a broad mix of transactional, projects and regulated legal matters in a business playing a key role in the construction space.This role will give you the chance to engage in high-impact legal work, with constant opportunities for skilled growth.

compliance and regulatory issues arising across project delivery and operationsProvide legal support on tenders and new work opportunities, across a range of procurement and contracting modelsAssist in identifying and managing legal and commercial risk across construction projectsSupport the management of claims, disputes and issue resolution, including engagement with external advisers where requiredHelp the business navigate complex project environments, working closely with commercial and delivery teamsWhat type of person will be successful?
