We provide road freight, linehaul, warehousing and distribution, Dangerous Goods (DG) handling and express services across Australia.
As we grow, we need compliance that keeps pace.About the roleThis is a hands‐on role for someone who would rather find a problem early than explain it later.
You'll be our early warning system, making sure our people, vehicles, contractors and sites meet their legal obligations, and you'll have the evidence to prove it.You'll work across three areas:Chain of Responsibility (CoR) and heavy vehicle compliance: audit fatigue records, work diaries, licences, load restraint and maintenance records under the Heavy Vehicle National Law (HVNL) and Western Australian heavy vehicle laws.
You'll also prepare for accreditation and customer audits.Contractor and labour hire compliance: onboard owner drivers, subcontractors and transport suppliers, maintain the labour hire compliance register, track insurances and licences before they expire,



and audit providers against their obligations.WHS: run site inspections, support risk assessments and incident investigations, keep registers current and track corrective actions to close out.You'll also deliver compliance training, report monthly on results and trends, and keep the business up to date on legislative changes.About you2 to 4 years in a compliance, WHS or audit role, ideally in road transport or logisticsWorking knowledge of the HVNL and CoR obligations, and an understanding of how Western Australia differsCertificate IV in Work Health and Safety or equivalent (CoR training can be completed after you start)Experience with national or Western Australian heavy vehicle accreditation audits, telematics or contractor registers is highly regardedConfident holding managers, drivers and contractors to the same standard, while keeping the relationships intactClear written communication, and the integrity to raise issues people would rather not hearCurrent Australian driver licence and willingness to travel interstateWhat we offerA newly created role with real authority to schedule audits, issue compliance notices and hold non-compliant contractors from allocationDirect access to senior leadership and the chance to shape how compliance works across the GroupVariety across a national, multi-site operation
