OverviewACRWORLD is representing a specialist organisation, known for its deep expertise in power systems and renewable energy, who are supporting utility-scale solar, wind, battery energy storage systems (BESS), and HV infrastructure developments across Australia.ResponsibilitiesLead and support commissioning activities on HV substations and renewable energy sitesDevelop and manage commissioning documentation: plans, schedules, ITPs, ITRs, FAT and SATPerform SCADA and signal testing, verify control system functionalityTest substation primary equipment including CBs, CTs, CVTs, and power transformersCollaborate with engineering, grid compliance, and external stakeholders (TNSPs, AEMO, OEMs)Oversee protected energisation procedures and ensure full compliance with regulationsSupport reporting, investigations,



and model validation testing where requiredQualificationsDegree in Electrical Engineering or Advanced Diploma in Power SystemsMinimum 2 years' commissioning/testing experience across HV or renewable infrastructureStrong understanding of protection and control systems, substation operation, and grid-connected renewablesFamiliarity with AEMO guidelines, R2 testing, and GPS compliance (desirable)Experience working under or with Australian TNSPs (Ausnet, Powerlink, Transgrid, Electranet) preferredExcellent communication and reporting skillsEA membership or intention to apply (desirable)How to ApplyIf you are interested in the position, please apply now with your updated CV.
