Electrical TechnicianWe are looking for qualified/licenced Electricians in Mackay who are interested in working in the Fire Protection industry.About usA leading provider of fire safety and security solutions, we at Chubb Fire & Security Australia are driven by a powerful purpose - to make the world a safer place.We start by living by our value of PROTECT PEOPLE FIRST.About the RoleBased out of our Mackay branch and working with a team of Fixed Fire Protection Technicians, across Central Qld Region.Responsible for fire systems for our current and recent customers focusing on service maintenance, installation, modification and repair of Fire Detection Systems incorporating special hazards & Emergency / Exit lights.Surveying customer premises and recommending fire protection and safety systems and equipment.Technical Assistance/backup for On Call Technicians.About youExperience working as an Electrical Technician, ideally in the Fire industryAustralian Citizenship or Australian Permanent Resident (PR)Current QLD Electrical LicenceCurrent driver's licenceQBCC Licence (Electrical Stream, Special Hazards Stream)Ability to obtain and undergo regularly Standard 11/Coal Board MedicalAble to undergo a National Police Check.A sound knowledge of the applicable Australian Standards relevant to Fixed Systems fire protection equipment is preferred.A Fire Protection Accreditation Scheme accreditation and Cabling Licence are ideal, but not mandatory.Good time management skillsGreat attitude and willingness to deliver for our customer and client base.Desired attributesStrong knowledge of AS ****, AS ****, AS ****Previous experience in fire systems inspections & maintenanceUp to date product and industry knowledge with Tyco, Notifier and other prominent Fire system brandsWorking at Heights LicenceConfined Space LicenceWhat we will offer youExcellent remuneration package - rates of pay, company vehicle,
