You'll play a crucial part in ensuring the highest standards of service and customer satisfaction, working hands-on alongside the team rather than just from behind a desk.What you'll be doingManaging and overseeing daily workshop operations, including scheduling, workflow and resource allocation - often juggling multiple priorities at onceLeading, supervising and working alongside technicians and workshop staff as part of one team,



ensuring tasks are completed to a high standard and on timeRolling up your sleeves to provide technical guidance and hands-on support, sharing your expertise to problem-solve complex issuesLiaising closely with our Service Advisors, communicating job progress and any additional work requiredMaintaining detailed records and reporting on workshop performanceIdentifying opportunities for process improvements and implementing changes to enhance efficiencyEnsuring adherence to all safety protocols and quality control measuresWhat we're looking forA qualified automotive technician with experience as a Workshop Controller or similar leadership roleStrong technical knowledge and hands-on experience with a wide range of vehicle makes and modelsHighly organised, with proven experience in scheduling, workflow optimisation and performance reportingA natural people person with excellent communication skills, comfortable liaising with customers and leading a teamA genuine problem solver who enjoys figuring out complex issuesThrives in a busy, fast-paced environment and brings a solid work ethicA true team player who leads by working alongside their people, not just managing from a distanceKeen eye for detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality workWhat we offerAt Sunshine Toyota, we're committed to providing a supportive and rewarding work environment for our employees.
