UNIfied Energy Services – South Melbourne VICUnified Energy Services is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer – Solar PV & BESS to join our growing renewable energy team in South Melbourne.
In this full-time role, you will play a key part in the design and delivery of commercial and residential solar PV and battery energy storage projects.
You will work across system design, grid connections, technical support and project delivery, working closely with our Operations, Project and Sales teams, installers, suppliers and network providers.Key responsibilitiesDesign and review Solar PV and BESS systems, including SLDs, layouts and technical documentationSupport DNSP and grid connection applications and requirementsProvide technical input to project, installation and sales teamsSupport pre-sales technical enquiries, system sizing and solution selectionReview inverter, battery, switchboard and electrical requirementsTroubleshoot and resolve technical issues across design and project deliveryEnsure designs comply with relevant Australian Standards,



SAA requirements and network requirementsAbout youBachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent3–4 years' relevant Solar PV and/or BESS experience in AustraliaCurrent SAA Grid Connected PV Design and/or Battery Storage Design accreditation preferredStrong knowledge of AS/NZS ****, AS/NZS ****, AS/NZS **** and AS/NZS ****Experience designing Solar PV and battery storage systemsExperience with AutoCAD and solar design softwareGood understanding of Australian DNSP grid connection requirementsStrong technical, problem-solving and communication skillsExcellent career opportunities as we continue to grow in the renewable energy industryExposure to a diverse range of commercial and residential Solar PV and BESS projectsOpportunities for career development and industry trainingA collaborative and growing teamCompetitive salary based on experienceAbout usUnified Energy Services is a leading provider of solar and battery storage solutions in Australia.
