You will work closely with the Project Manager, Site Manager and wider delivery team to ensure the project is delivered safely, efficiently and to a high standard.Your responsibilities will includeManaging major construction packages from procurement through to completionCoordinating subcontractors, consultants and internal project stakeholdersReviewing design documentation and resolving technical issuesManaging RFIs, shop drawings, methodologies and approvalsMonitoring programme, quality, cost and delivery milestonesSupporting procurement,



contract administration and commercial processesEnsuring works comply with project specifications, safety requirements and relevant standardsMentoring and supporting junior engineers where requiredBuilding strong relationships with the client, consultants and subcontractorsTo be considered for this position, you must have:Previous experience with a recognised Tier 1 or Tier 2 builderDemonstrated experience delivering large-scale construction new build projects - not infrastructure and civilsExperience working as a Senior Project Engineer, or as an accomplished Project Engineer ready to step upStrong technical construction knowledge and major package ownership on new builds like government, commercial, residential or similarThe ability to coordinate multiple subcontractors, consultants and stakeholdersStrong communication, organisation and problem-solving skillsA qualification in construction management, engineering or a related disciplineFull Australian working rightsThe opportunityYou will be joining a well-established recent build head contractor with an experienced leadership team, a strong pipeline of work and a reputation for delivering major projects across NSW.The business offers a stable environment, exposure to a landmark Sydney project and genuine opportunities for continued career progression following its completion.All applications and enquiries will be treated confidentially.
