Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, this role plays a key part in supporting the financial operations of the business through accurate project costing, monitoring, and reporting.
The position also involves managing fixed assets and assisting with month-end accounting processes across multiple entities.Employment: Permanent Full-Time Monday to Friday 8am start (38 hrs)Part-Time option (min. 30hrs) would be considered for the right candidateLocation: DelacombeKey ResponsibilitiesSetup budget tracking files for new projects, updating revenue / costs against budgets weekly, updating forecasts as the project progressesMonitor actual spend vs budget,



analyse cost variances and provide insights to project operations teamPrepare supporting documentation and issue invoices for monthly project progress claims and spare parts ordersMonitor WIP and process accrual journalsMonthly stock reconciliations and COGS journals, working with operations team to resolve issuesMaintain the company fixed asset registers, conducting regular asset audits and ensuring all fixed asset transactions are processed monthlyIdentify areas for improvement in current processes and assist with the development of new systems as we grow our footprint and product offeringAssist the wider finance function as required to meet the needs of the businessAbout YouYou will bring proven experience in a similar role, along with:A degree in Accounting or FinanceStrong knowledge of job costing and work-in-progress (WIP) managementAdvanced proficiency in Microsoft ExcelExcellent attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality workA continuous improvement mindset, with the confidence to challenge and enhance existing systems and processesStrong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across operational teamsExperience within a manufacturing or construction environment will be highly regardedWhy You'll love working hereBe part of a rapidly growing company delivering major national projectsEnjoy a competitive salary packageWork within a supportive team culture that values work-life balanceAccess ongoing professional development and career growth opportunities
