OverviewMcMahon Services is seeking an experienced Site Manager to lead on-site delivery across a range of building and construction projects throughout South Australia.
This is a hands-on leadership role suited to a capable site professional who enjoys ownership of delivery, thrives in dynamic environments and works collaboratively with Project Managers, clients and subcontractors to achieve safe, high-quality outcomes.About McMahon ServicesMcMahon Services is one of Australia's largest privately owned construction, industrial and environmental services organisations.
Operating across Australia and New Zealand, we deliver complex projects from metropolitan areas through to remote locations, underpinned by strong values, experienced teams and a safety-first culture.About the RoleAs Site Manager, you will lead all on-site activities, coordinating labour, subcontractors and resources to ensure building projects are delivered safely, on time and within budget.
You will work closely with Project Managers to drive performance, compliance and engagement on site.
Regional travel may be required from time to time, with LAFHA and allowances provided where applicable.What You'll DoLead and manage site-based teams, subcontractors and suppliersWork closely with Project Managers on RFIs, variations, delays and EOTsCoordinate labour, plant and materials to meet program milestonesPrepare and issue weekly site and progress reportsBuild and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholdersEnsure compliance with contract requirements,



WHS and environmental standardsWhat You'll BringProven experience as a Site Manager in building constructionStrong understanding of building methodologies and sequencingAbility to read, interpret and communicate plans and documentationExperience preparing and reviewing JSAs and risk assessmentsStrong leadership, communication and problem-solving skillsConstruction White Card and current driver's licenceSenior First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)Ability to obtain Defence clearance, DCSI and National Police ClearanceAbility to pass pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol testingWhat Will Set You ApartExperience delivering complex building projects safely, on time and within budgetProficiency with MS Project and Microsoft OfficeExperience using Procore and/or Pronto (desirable)Strong ownership mindset and ability to manage site delivery autonomouslyWhy Join McMahon Services?
