Reporting to the Tax Manager, you'll work within a small, high-performing tax team that manages all aspects of direct and indirect tax, while partnering closely with finance and operational teams across Australia and New Zealand.This role will see you delivering accurate and timely tax reporting, identifying opportunities to streamline and automate processes, and embedding robust controls to manage tax risk.Your responsibilities will include:Preparing and lodging returns, calculations, and journals for income tax, GST, FBT, payroll tax, stamp duty, and other applicable taxesCompleting monthly tax calculations, journals,



and reconciliationsConducting tax research and preparing supporting memorandaMaintaining and enhancing workpapers and reconciliationsPartnering with business and finance teams to uplift controls and improve tax processesSupporting audits and tax authority reviewsMonitoring legislative changes and assessing business impactsThe CandidateCA/CPA qualified with at least 3 years' tax experience, ideally in a chartered environmentStrong technical knowledge across direct and indirect taxesFinancial services or insurance industry experience advantageousSkilled in data analysis, process improvement, and automationConfident communicator who can build trusted relationships across the businessProactive, detail-oriented, and able to work effectively in a rapid-paced, multi-entity environmentTo learn more, please apply now or send your updated CV to .
