The role involves operating manual lathes and a milling machine to produce quality components and complete repairs.Key responsibilitiesOperate manual lathes and milling machines to produce quality components and complete repairsRead and interpret engineering drawingsManufacture and repair precision components to specified tolerancesMeasure and inspect finished parts to ensure quality standards are metMaintain a high standard of workmanship and attention to detailTake ownership of jobs from setup through to completionAbout youStrong knowledge of turning, milling, drilling, and general machining practicesAble to read and interpret engineering drawingsSelf-motivated and able to work independently with limited supervisionReliable and punctualExperience with NC machines is an advantage but not essential
