Interior Designer & Business Development CoordinatorTradeWise Renovations is looking for an experienced Interior Designer & Business Development Coordinator to join our Canberra team.This is a varied role combining kitchen and bathroom design, client consultation and business development.We are looking for someone who understands kitchens and bathrooms, is confident using SketchUp, enjoys dealing with clients and has the commercial awareness and personality to build relationships and identify new opportunities.About the roleYou will be involved in the front end of renovation projects, from the initial client enquiry through to design, documentation and handover to the project team.
Working closely with the directors, you will meet with prospective clients, develop concepts and layouts, produce 3D designs, and build relationships with clients, businesses and industry professionals.Key responsibilitiesMeet with prospective clients and understand their renovation requirementsDiscuss budgets, layouts, materials and practical considerationsDevelop kitchen and bathroom concepts and layoutsPrepare drawings and documentation for quoting and constructionLiaise with suppliers and manufacturersAttend sites when required to confirm existing conditions and measurementsWork with the project management team to ensure designs are practical and buildableDevelop and maintain relationships with clients, businesses and industry professionalsBuild referral relationships with suppliers and industry partnersAttend relevant industry events, meetings and networking opportunitiesRepresent TradeWise professionally within the Canberra building and property industryAssist with initiatives that generate new enquiries and referral opportunitiesAbout youThe successful candidate will ideally have experience in kitchen and bathroom design, renovation, cabinetry,



building or a related industry.You will have:Strong kitchen and bathroom design and sales experienceProficiency in SketchUpThe ability to produce accurate and practical design documentationA good understanding of cabinetry and joineryAn understanding of how kitchens and bathrooms are constructedExcellent communication and presentation skillsHigh moral and ethical standardsConfidence dealing directly with clientsStrong attention to detailGood organisational and time management skillsCommercial awareness and an interest in business developmentThe ability to build genuine professional relationshipsA practical approach to problem solvingExperience working with existing homes and renovation projects will be highly regarded.About usTradeWise Renovations is a family owned Canberra renovation business established in ****.
