This is an opportunity to own the finance function of a growing property development business, on your terms: three days a week, with the autonomy of running the numbers end to end.Our client is a Brighton-based property developer looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to take full, standalone ownership of their day-to-day finance and accounting function.
Reporting directly to the Managing Director, you'll be the sole point of contact for all things finance, from transactional processing through to management and project reporting.The RoleReport directly to the Managing Director as the standalone finance function for the businessManage the full end-to-end accounting function, including accounts payable, accounts receivable,



and reconciliationsTrack project costs against budgets and support the MD with project-level reportingProcess a small payroll run and manage related compliancePrepare monthly management reports and provide financial insights to support decision-makingHandle general finance administration and ad hoc support for the leadership teamAbout YouQualified or near-qualified accountant with solid experience in a standalone or senior finance roleComfortable managing the full accounting cycle unsupervised, from data entry through to reportingExperience with small payroll processingHighly organised, proactive, and comfortable working autonomously without a finance team around youPrior experience in property development, construction, or a small-to-medium business is highly regardedWhat's on Offer$140,000 package (pro rata for 3 days per week)Genuine part time role with flexibility on days/hoursBrighton location, close to cafes and public transportA varied, hands-on role with full ownership and autonomyDirect access to and support from the Managing Director
