You will be responsible for controlling the day-to-day movement of inventory throughout the warehouse and ensuring the operation remains organised, accurate and ready for each day's activities.
This is not a desk-based inventory position.
You will be someone who enjoys being on the warehouse floor and taking ownership of the daily movement and organisation of stock.Key responsibilitiesReview daily inbound and outbound stock movementsCoordinate where incoming pallets and products are storedManage stock movements, put-away and replenishment throughout the warehouseEnsure stock is stored in the correct warehouse and racking locationsWork closely with the warehouse,



picking and dispatch teamsMonitor warehouse space and help maintain an organised layoutIdentify and resolve misplaced stock and inventory discrepanciesAssist with cycle counts and maintain inventory accuracyEnsure stock movements are correctly recorded in the systemMake sure the warehouse is organised and ready for the following day's operationsAbout youPrevious experience in inventory control, warehouse operations or stock controlStrong knowledge of warehouse stock movements and racking/location systemsComfortable working both on the warehouse floor and with inventory/WMS systemsHighly organised and enjoys keeping a warehouse structured and under controlCan communicate clearly with warehouse staff, supervisors and managementTakes ownership and follows problems through until they are resolvedConfident working in a busy and growing distribution environmentGood computer and inventory-system skillsForklift experience/licence would be highly regardedAbout usMaze Distribution is a growing Australian distribution business.
