Offering a safe and welcoming home for all our residents, our mission has always been to have a positive impact on the well being of our residents and to care and support one another like family.About the Role:We are seeking an experienced and proactive Quality Officer 3 days a week (part time or casual) to develop quality, compliance, governance and resident outcomes.Reporting to the General Manager you will support a culture of continuous improvement, ensuring that care and services are evidence-based, and responsive to individual needs.Key responsibilitiesMonitor and ensure compliance with the Strengthened Aged Care Quality StandardsCoordinate accreditation processes, audits, and regulatory submissionsMaintain and review policies, procedures, and governance systemsEnsure documentation meets legislative and organisational requirementsLead and coordinate continuous improvement activities across the serviceAnalyse quality indicators (e.g., incidents, complaints,



clinical data)Identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvementImplement and monitor corrective and preventive actionsOversee incident management systems, including reporting, investigation, and follow-upSupport risk assessments and mitigation strategiesAbout youRelevant qualification in Nursing, Health, Quality or related fieldCurrent Police CheckExperience in aged care quality, compliance or clinical governanceSound knowledge of the Strengthened Aged Care Quality StandardsStrong understanding of risk management and continuous improvement systemsExcellent communication, organisational and analytical skillsStrong attention to detail and critical thinkingAbility to analyse data and drive improvementsCommitment to person-centred and culturally secure careHave sound knowledge of different relevant IT systems for example Microsoft OfficeCompetitive Salary including Salary packaging benefitsStrong team and supportive environmentOpportunity for personal growth
