Based at our modern Cavan facility, we are part of the CMV Group, a proudly family-owned South Australian business with more than 90 years of success and over 2,000 employees across South Australia and Victoria.We are currently seeking an experienced and trade-qualifiedWelder or Fabricator to join our Delivery Department, where you'll play a key role in preparing and customising some of the best trucks on the market.About the RoleWorking in a modern, well-equipped workshop, you will be responsible for producing high-quality fabrication and fit-out work on new trucks prior to delivery.
This is a hands-on role offering a outstanding variety of work, where no two days are the same.Key ResponsibilitiesRepair, manufacture and modify truck and trailer components, including chassis, suspensions, stainless steel panels and bracketsFabricate and install custom accessories and equipmentAssist with vehicle fit-outs, including cab accessories, bumper bars, fridges, microwaves, toolboxes and moreEnsure all customer-requested accessories are fitted to a high standard and completed on timeWork collaboratively with fitters, painters, auto electricians and other workshop team membersMaintain a strong focus on safety, quality and workmanshipTo be successful in this role,



you will have:Trade qualifications in Metal Fabrication, Welding, Body Building or a related tradeExperience within transport engineering, heavy vehicles or a similar industryA commitment to delivering high-quality workmanshipStrong attention to detail and pride in your workAbility to work efficiently to meet deadlinesCurrent Driver's LicenceWhat's on Offer?
